Read Jeremiah 18:3-4, James 4:8, 1 Samuel 3:3-4, Hebrews 12:1-2, 2 Timothy 2:20-21, 2 Corinthians 9:7

Discussion Questions:

1.       What is a vessel?

 

2.       There are four steps to becoming a useful vessel for God.

 

a.       Proximity/Availability

                                                               i.      What do James 4:8 and 1 Samuel 3:3-4 tell us about proximity/availability

b.      Emptied

                                                               i.      What does Hebrews 12:1-2 tell us about being emptied

c.       Clean

                                                               i.      What does 1 Timothy 2:20-21 tell us about being clean

d.      Willing

                                                               i.      What does 2 Corinthians 9:7 tell us about being willing?

 

3.       Why are all of these important if an individual desires to be used by God?
