1.        This is the last of Jesus’ “I Am” statements.  How do they relate to Exodus 3:14?

We see four things in this passage: The (true) vine, the vinedresser, the branch that bears fruit, and the branch that does not bear fruit

 

2.        What does Jesus mean when He says He is the true vine? How does this relate to the nation of Israel?

 

3.       Who is the vinedresser?  What is the significance of the vinedresser?

 

4.       What is the result of the branch that does not bear fruit?

 

5.       What can we infer from the branch that does bear fruit?  What is the promise here?
