Read Matthew 4:18-22, John 1:42, Mark 3:14, John 3:22, Romans 8:29, Matthew 28:19

Discussion Questions

1.       In Matthew 4:18-22 does anything stand out as somewhat odd to you?

2.       Do notice anything special about how Jesus saw Peter in John 1:42? What would happen if we saw are players the same way, not only as players but as men?

​

3.       Read Mark 3:14.  Have you ever really thought about how much time Jesus spent with his disciples?  How much time do we spend with our players? Do we make the most of it?

​

4.       John 3:22 may seem like a very simple verse however, if you get the chance look up the Greek word for remained – “diatribo”.  What are we trying to rub into our players and those around us?

5.       According to Romans 8:29, what is the goal as we set out to follow Christ like these disciples?

​

6.       Ultimately as Christians, what does Matthew 28:19 command us to do? Are we accomplishing this with the platform God has given us as coaches?
